Well last night was the wedding of the century (I'm the dude on the right), no ladies don't be discouraged, I didn't take the plunge. But my good friends Matt and Andrea decided to walk down the aisle, only after a half of decade of dating needless to say. So let's raise the glasses and say congratulations. In other news, I will be going into blog hermit/neglect mode once again as I will be traveling to Northern Ireland for a short while but hear you me, there will be plenty of stories to share once I get back, but in the meantime I'll leave you with some tunes for your enjoyment.

As I sit here in the lovely airport that is bluegrass field I would like to talk about a certain artist I discovered while browsing the listening stations of my favorite local CD store. Her name is Erin McKeown. According to Google, she is a funky folk artist, whatever that means but to me she appears to be a refreshing collaboration of all my favorite female artists. She has the pop craft of Fiona Apple and Aimee Mann with a voice that is somehow reminiscent of both all the while with hints of Bjork and Jen Lewis sometimes. So here are a couple tunes for your aural enjoyment:
